Welcome to Yafa Pharmacy Management System (PMS). We are a team of dedicated professionals at Bosphorus Solutions, a company founded by Firas Shrourou in Istanbul, Turkey in 2019. Our journey traces back to the early 2000s when Firas established Yafa ITC (Information Technology Center) in Syria.
In 2001, we introduced our flagship product, Yafa Pharmacy, a pioneering Pharmacy Point of Sale (POS) system. At that time, the pharmaceutical industry in Syria faced significant challenges, such as the absence of barcode labels on medicine packages. Determined to address these obstacles, we developed a solution that not only generated barcode labels but also streamlined inventory management and daily operations for pharmacists.
Despite the difficulties we encountered, Yafa Pharmacy gained remarkable traction, capturing the interest of over 80 pharmacies in Damascus and other cities across Syria. The system's user-friendly interface, efficient inventory management, and exceptional customer support and training services were key factors in its success.
However, due to various circumstances, including limited internet availability and the need for on-site support, we made the difficult decision to close our operations in 2003. Firas shifted his focus to his role as an IT manager in a newly established bank in Syria.
With the onset of the war, Firas and his family relocated outside of Syria and established Bosphorus Solutions. Drawing upon our previous experience and driven by a passion for empowering pharmacies with innovative technology, we embarked on reinventing Yafa Pharmacy.
Today, as Yafa Pharmacy Management System (PMS), we are proud to present a comprehensive and advanced solution that caters to the specific needs of modern pharmacies. Our new iteration combines enhanced technology, intuitive design, and comprehensive support services to optimize pharmacy operations and drive success.
